D-Card
Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 2026-08-18 Last updated: 2026-08-18 This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everyone who accesses D-Card services operated by D-Card, including mobile apps, https://d-card.io, public cards, APIs, and Admin tools (where authorized). Violations may result in content removal, feature limits, suspension, termination, and reports to authorities where appropriate.
1. Purpose
D-Card is a professional digital identity and networking platform. This AUP protects users, recipients of shared cards, our infrastructure, and the public from abuse — without turning the platform into a subjective content-moderation forum for ordinary business disagreements.
2. Prohibited Activities
You may not use the Service to:
Unlawful and fraudulent activity
- Engage in unlawful activity of any kind
- Commit fraud, identity theft, or financial misrepresentation
- Impersonate another person, brand, or organization
- Publish phishing content or social-engineering lures
Security abuse
- Distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, or malicious files
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
- Probe, scan, or attack the Service except through authorized security reporting to security@d-card.io
- Bypass authentication, rate limits, entitlements, or access controls
- Interfere with the normal operation of the Service
Spam and automation abuse
- Send spam or unsolicited bulk communications through the Service
- Perform abusive automated scraping of public cards or APIs
- Generate excessive automated requests that degrade availability
- Harvest personal information of other users without authorization
Content and IP abuse
- Upload or share content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Post harmful or illegal content
- Harass, threaten, or target individuals
- Upload malicious attachments in support tickets or media fields
- Misuse public-card sharing to distribute harmful links or deceptive offers
- Intentionally publish misleading business or profile information designed to deceive recipients
Privacy abuse
- Collect, store, or disclose other users' information without a lawful basis
- Publish sensitive personal data of third parties on a public card without rights and necessity
3. Public Cards and Professional Context
Because public QR codes and links can be viewed without an account, you must treat public fields as public. Do not place secrets, passwords, payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or others' private data on a public card.
4. Reporting Abuse Report
AUP concerns to support@d-card.io. Security vulnerabilities should go to security@d-card.io. Legal notices may be sent to legal@d-card.io.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and take action we reasonably consider appropriate, including warnings, content removal, suspension, or termination. Enforcement is not a guarantee of monitoring all content in advance.
6. Relationship to Other Policies This
AUP is part of your agreement with us together with the Terms of Service, Content Guidelines, and Privacy Policy.
