Accessibility at D-Card
Last updated: 2026-08-18
D-Card wants D-Card — including https://d-card.io and our mobile apps — to be usable by as many professionals as reasonably possible.
1. Our Commitment
We work to design clear layouts, readable typography, meaningful labels, and navigable flows for creating and sharing digital business cards. Accessibility is an ongoing effort across product releases, not a one-time checkbox.
2. Standards We Aim
For
We aim to follow WCAG 2.2 Level AA principles where applicable for key web and mobile experiences.
We are not claiming independent WCAG certification, formal conformance audit completion, or that every screen currently meets every success criterion. If you find a barrier, please tell us so we can prioritize fixes.
3. Areas of Focus
- Readable contrast on primary product surfaces where feasible
- Support for dynamic type / system font scaling on mobile where the platform allows
- Labels and roles for key interactive controls
- Keyboard access considerations on web surfaces where applicable
- Avoiding reliance on color alone for critical meaning when practical
- Clear error messaging in forms such as sign-in and profile editing
Some rich card canvases, template previews, maps, or camera/QR flows may have inherent visual or device constraints. We continue to improve alternatives where product architecture allows.
4. Third-Party Content
User-generated cards, logos, gallery images, and external links may not meet accessibility standards. We encourage users to choose readable text and adequate contrast for public cards.
5. Feedback
Accessibility feedback: support@d-card.io Please include the platform (iOS, Android, web), app/site version if known, and a description of the barrier.
Privacy-related accessibility requests involving personal data can also copy privacy@d-card.io.
6. Updates
We may update this statement as the product evolves. Check the Last updated date on the published version.
