Privacy Choices & Data Rights
Effective date: 2026-08-18 Last updated: 2026-08-18 This page helps you find practical controls for your information in D-Card. It is a companion to the Privacy Policy, not a replacement. Operated by D-Card. Privacy contact: privacy@d-card.io.
1. Update Profile and Card Information
In the mobile app, edit your profile, business details, and card fields to correct inaccurate information. Keeping public fields accurate reduces the chance that recipients see outdated contact data.
2. Change Public Visibility
Review what your public card exposes before sharing a QR code or link. Remove or edit fields you do not want strangers to see. Anyone with the link may view public fields — including people without the app.
3. Manage Notifications Where
the product provides preference toggles, manage push notification and marketing/email preferences in Settings. Transactional messages needed for security and account operations may still be sent when mail is configured.
4. Manage Location Permissions
Business addresses are typically typed or selected by you. If you use Maps/Places address search, you can deny or limit OS location permission in your device settings. Core account use should remain available with manual address entry.
5. Manage Push Permissions
You can disable notification permission at the OS level or remove/reinstall as needed. Revoking permission stops new push delivery to that device token pathway.
6. Analytics Preferences Where
Settings exposes an analytics consent or preference control, use it to express your choice. Guest or pre-preference analytics behavior, if any, is described operationally in product docs and must stay consistent with the Privacy Policy.
7. Request Access or
Correction To request a copy of personal information or ask us to correct data you cannot edit yourself, email privacy@d-card.io from the address on your account. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
8. Delete Your
Account To request deletion: Mobile: Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account Web instructions: https://d-card.io/account-deletion Deletion requests become PENDING, then require Admin approval, after which the account is soft-deleted and sessions/tokens are revoked. This is not described as a full hard wipe of all historical records.
9. Withdraw Consent
Where processing relies on consent (for example optional marketing), you may withdraw consent using in-app controls or by contacting privacy@d-card.io. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal, and may not apply to processing needed to provide the Service or meet legal duties.
